Having obtained a First Class Honours Degree in Surveying, Amber went on to read her postgraduate degree in law at the University of the West of England, Bristol. Amber completed the Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law, London. Amber was called to the London Bar by the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple in 1998 and to the Gibraltar Bar in 1999. In 2002 she read her Masters Degree in Law at Bristol University.

During her time on the Rock, Amber has represented clients from all walks of life before the Magistrates Court, Supreme Court and Industrial Tribunal. Her experience includes acting as junior counsel in two local murder cases (one of domestic violence), winning a landmark case of clinical negligence against the GHA and the first sex discrimination case held on the Rock since the 1980's in the Industrial Tribunal, for compensation for a pregnancy related dismissal. 

Amber is committed to improving the quality of life of others. She has 25 years hands-on experience of participating in, producing or directing social, educational and cultural projects, supporting both local charities and associations. Some of these projects were supported by the Ministries for Education, Culture and Family and Youth & Community Affairs.
